Second Floor Exhibits

Calming Seas Sensory Space

  • Opening in Winter 2025! A quiet space for guests to center themselves while amongst the activity and bustle of the Children's Museum. This peaceful space will include a tactile octopus mural, mesmerizing bubble tube and sensory toys to create a calm space for children to regulate.

Colonial Classroom

  • Experience education in a recreated one-room schoolhouse. Here, children can explore what school was like over one hundred years ago. Whether your child is teaching or listening, they can interact with modern technology in this space to understand the past.

Publix Super Markets Interactive Exhibit

  • Step into a Publix Supermarket in this immersive room. Sponsored by Publix Super Markets Charities, children can shop for groceries or stock the shelves with smaller versions of their favorite foods.

Land and Sea: Wonders of the Gulf Coast

  • From the ground to the Gulf, Land & Sea lets kids explore the connection between animals, nature, and humans. Dive into a world full of sea creatures, help our coastal friends build homes, or load cargo ships in this interactive gallery.

Kid's Clinic

  • This exhibit features many different interactive play items such as an ambulance, operating table, CT scanner, exam table, lab station, and many other medical related activities. Children are able to put lab coats on, select a patient doll, and bring them through each station. Thanks to the support of the Escambia County Medical Society Foundation, the Studer Family Children's Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart, Pensacola Pediatrics, and Touchstone Medical Imaging.
